About Us
Welcome to Adventures in Northeast Ohio, the official Web site of the Western Reserve Tourist Council. The Western Reserve Tourist Council (WRTC) is a peer networking and marketing organization. Knowing that people retain much more from actual experiences, each of the WRTC monthly meetings becomes a "learning" experience. This 16 county agency focuses on regional tourism and marketing Northeast Ohio as a destination with many diverse offerings throughout the participating counties. In order to know their product, meetings are held monthly at a members' location. Every month offers up a new location, speaker and tour opportunity. WRTC members have held meetings in some very interesting places! From barns to boats, wineries to wagons and playhouses to patios, members always learn about their host locations to better be able to market the area.
In addition to these great "hands on learning" meetings, benefits within WRTC include our profile and itinerary book, promotional adventure map, mentoring program, membership directory, sales and blitz trade show opportunities, monthly guest speakers, industry excellence awards, scholarship awards, public relations, and co-op advertising opportunities. We pride ourselves with all of the benefits we provide to our members, proving that we are a top-notch travel and tourism organization.
The Western Reserve Tourist Council will celebrate its' 30 year anniversary and look ahead to the next 30!
