Oh WOW! Children's CenterSummer fun awaits you in Youngstown & Mahoning County. With so much to see and do, plan a weekend getaway for the entire family!

Located in downtown Youngstown, OH WOW Children’s Center for Science & Technology is fun for all ages! Celebrating its 5th birthday this month, this exciting, hands-on learning environment offers interactive exhibits that are both educational and fun. Kids and parents alike will love the Hurricane Blast and the Steam and Erosion Table in the Weather Center, the Airplane Shooter in the Avionics section, and the Laser Guitar and Rhythm Machine in the Music area. Make! events are held each Saturday at noon in their InspireWorks lab. Save the date for their 5th annual Silly Science Sunday on September 18. EDUtainment spills out onto the downtown streets for a day filled with more hands-on exhibits, activities and demonstrations for the whole family.

Be sure to visit the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, a 402-acre working farm that offers a natural escape and recreational activities including a tractor and wagon ride and visit with the animals. Meet up with more animal friends at Noah’s Lost Ark Exotic Animal Sanctuary. Get an up-close look at lions, tigers, leopards, wolves and other animals at this unique facility dedicated to providing a permanent, safe environment for abused and unwanted exotic animals.

Bounce on over to Extreme Air Trampoline Park, now open in Boardman. Enjoy over 10,000 square feet of custom made trampolines adjoining the floors and walls, all set in a family friendly atmosphere! There are 4 basketball lanes, 2 foam pits, party rooms, and special events. Nearby Sports World Family Fun Center offers go-carts, batting cages, adventure golf and an arcade.
