Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens announces that it has been chosen as a 2016 Best of the Best winner by the American Bus Association (ABA). A list of all 2016 Best of the Best appears in a special section of ABA’s September/October issue of DESTINATIONS magazine.

In December 2015, Deck the Hall at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens was selected as a Top 100 Event. An editorial panel has selected Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens from a much larger field of nominated suppliers for this special recognition as the Best of the Best Travel Suppliers in 2016, which replaces the Top 100 Event designation.
The American Bus Association’s Top 100 Events in North America began in 1982 as a way for motor coach and tour operators to incorporate new product into their group tour itineraries. It has grown into one of the most sought-after lists for travel professionals, group tour operators and the general public.
The Manor House at Stan Hywet is the sixth largest historic home in the country open to the public. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. An unusual fact is that the collection in the Manor House is 95% original. One of twelve historic gardens, the English Garden – originally designed by Warren Manning in 1912 – was redesigned by Ellen Biddle Shipman in 1929 and restored in 1992. The English Garden is the only fully restored Shipman garden open to the public.
