On sultry summer evenings, hundreds of families bring picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs to the Berkman Amphitheater in Fort Steuben Park for the Fort Steuben Concert Series. Located in downtown Steubenville, in Jefferson County and overlooking the Ohio River, the Amphitheater features free musical performances on eleven Thursday nights from May to August.
Visitors can spend the afternoon touring Historic Fort Steuben, take the Mural Walking Tour, dine in one of the unique family restaurants, and then head for the amphitheater to enjoy a variety of musical genres, from Oldies to Country to Jazz.
